The Streator Township High School Marching Bulldogs are the sound of Streator Football and the pride of Streator. Comprised of 70 students, they work together for hours every week to put together a marching show to be proud of!
This year's show is entitled Out of the Abyss, telling the story of a struggle to break from the darkness into the light. Movements include:
- Night on Bald Mountain
- I Dreamed a Dream
- KA: Battlefield
Our concert band starts their season in late October when marching band ends. They participate in IHSA Organizational Contest, Solo and Ensemble, and other college festivals.

The Wind Ensemble is a select group of students wishing to challenge themselves with more difficult repertoire. Chosen from the top of each section, this group meets three times a week and performs on all concerts.
Jazz band is an auditioned group typically comprised of saxes, trumpets, trombones, and a rhythm section (drumset, piano, vibes, bass).
This year the STHS Jazz Band will be participating in the New Trier Jazz Fest on February 3rd, and the Jazz in the Meadows Festival at Rolling Meadows High School on February 24th.
The pep band is the sound of Streator football and basketball. They perform at all home football games, home boys' basketball games, and select girls' basketball games. To get to as many games as possible without spreading our very involved students too thin, the band is split in to Red and White pep bands that alternate performances.
With the revival of the drama program in 2016, a musical pit was revived as well! Comprised of student volunteers and professional musicians, our pit puts on a high-quality, exciting performance!
